EQUIP (Engaging Questions & Understanding Innovative Practices) for ISM (International Student Ministry) Training is a life-changing week of looking at the strategies and models for the different dimensions comprising international student ministry—students, volunteers, culture, prayer, resources, recruitment, working on campus, balancing priorities, managing paperwork/email/reports, computer aids, and other relevant resources needed for a vibrant international student ministry
EQUIP is designed for full or part-time staff members, as well as Ministry Representatives, volunteers, and ministry partners—those who are just beginning their ministry to international students or those already in student ministry who want to sharpen their skills. We guarantee this week of training will radically challenge your presuppositions, stretch your thinking, expand your vision, and equip you for effective ministry to international students—ministry that is designed to mobilize students for Kingdom initiative and multiplication of ministry globally.
Next EQUIP training: October 10-15, 2019, Valley Church/Cupertino, CA. Meetings will begin at 5 pm Thursday the 10th and end with dinner on Tuesday the 15th. So plan your flights around that schedule. Sign up below if you would like to attend. If you are ISI staff and desire to use your account you can do that by checking the box "ISI staff who wish to pay using their ISI account fund" and then giving us your ISI account number. If you are an ISI Volunteer and wish to attend the "Saturday Training" check the box "Volunteers Non-ISI staff". The cost for Saturday only is $30. If you are all five days and only paying 1/2 of the $200 because another person is paying the difference then check the box "Pre-approved ISI Staff/Volunteers".
The preferred airport to fly into is the San Jose airport (SJC). But if you can get better deals into Oakland or San Francisco that is fine.
