Andy Parnham worked as a medical doctor in London for some years before moving into full time church work. This included reaching out to the diverse communities in London, followed by several years living and working in the Middle East, engaged in ministry and training others in mission. His medical and faith backgrounds led him to a deeper and more wholistic understanding of wellbeing, and so today he is a wellbeing advisor, trainer and coach, helping individuals and communities to develop their health and wellbeing. He is a qualified Life Coach.
Andy runs a number of accessible wellbeing courses. The Happiness Course arose out of a desire to address the numerous needs and opportunities of people in London and beyond. He has run it scores of times in many contexts, from churches, schools and children's centres to charities and the health service. Based on recent wellbeing research, it is accessible and participatory, resonating with all types of people. His latest course is The Well Person Course, which enables participants to develop wellness across the whole of their lives – physically, mentally, relationally and spiritually. Andy's recently published book, “Lasting Happiness”, is based on his work and reflections of the past years. Find out more at https://www.andyjillparnham.com/ |
Johnny Ace Palmer's achievements in the world of magic are legendary. When Johnny earned the title of World Champion Magician in 1988, he was the first close-up magician in history to receive that award, called the Grand Prix. Johnny received the award at the International Federation of Magic Societies' convention, where competing magicians from 47 countries witnessed his award winning act. In addition, Johnny was voted Best Close-Up Magician at the Magic Castle in Hollywood two years in a row (1987, 1988) and Lecturer of the Year (1996, 1999). He is also the only magician to receive both the International Brotherhood of Magicians' Gold Cups Award of Excellence (1983) and the Society of American Magicians' (SAM) Gold Medal Award of Honor (1986). Johnny even geared his college education towards the study of magic: At Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, from which he received his B.A., he majored in Theatre Arts and minored in Psychology, the perfect education for a career in magic.

Jonathan Noyes has worked as a speaker with Stand to Reason since 2019. A former atheist, Jonathan used to think belief in God was unwarranted and irresponsible. Then, after examining the evidence for Christianity he was faced with the fact that Jesus is who He says He is and the Christian worldview tells the true story of reality. Since then Jon has been passionate about engaging the culture with honest, well thought-out reasons why people should trust the Christian worldview. Jon has developed a series of passionate talks to do just that.
In 2013 Jonathan earned a master’s degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University, graduating with honors. Jon brings a unique perspective to his audiences and the Stand to Reason team, having more than ten years' experience in the legal field and serving more than five as a pastor in his local church. Jon also serves on the board of directors for Life Without Limbs and at Beacon Hill Classical Academy, where he teaches |
